WHAT IS YOUR RATE?

It has always and will always be my goal to offer professional quality photography at a low and affordable rate. Please see my "Prices" page (top-middle) for current rates and discounts. All packages are customizable so please contact me with any special requests.

 

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

I shoot a blended style of Modern, Photojournalistic  Photography with Candid & Posed. I never limit myself to one style.

 

HOW DO I OBTAIN PRINTS FOR MY PHOTOS?

For both Weddings and Portraits sessions, you will receive a disc of the best images per setting. On the disc you will receive a copy of the release to print out, fill out, and then sign. This signed release will be what you would be expected to show to the  local printers in order to print your photos anywhere you wish. For wedding and Portraits photography, if you need help with printing please feel free to contact me and I would be happy to help you!

 

WHAT IS THE TURN AROUND TIME FOR PHOTOS?

For Portraits, normal turn around time is 2-3 weeks from the date of your shoot. For Weddings, normal turn around time is 3-6 wks, depending on the time of year. If an album is ordered it will be 4-5 additional weeks for designing, processing, printing, and shipping of the book.

 

WILL THE PHOTOS BE SHOT IN DIGITAL OR FILM?

I shoot digitally now and have done so the past 10 years. I wouldn't want it any other way. I shot film for a little while before digital came in and I dont miss film photography one bit.

 

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

For Portrait appointments I would appreciate 24-48 hour notice. For weddings and events, because I do not double-book dates, once I  am committed to your date, I will reject all future work for that date.  Therefore, the retainer fee (deposit) is considered non-refundable. For wedding cancellations, as much notice as possible is  greatly  appreciated to allow time for me to refill your date, if possible.

 

HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION OR WEDDING DAY WITH YOU?

All you have to do is call or email me and we will discuss your wishes and book your date you desire. All that is reqiuired to book your weddng is deposit of  $250 and a signed copy  of the Photo Print Release. Feel free to request the release to have it emailed to you.

 

WHEN ARE YOU MOST AVAILABLE FOR PICTURES?

I am available week nights Mondays thru Thursdays and almost anytime Fridays thru Sundays. My Saturdays (and some Fridays) are usually saved for Weddings. Though most prefer nights and weekends, if you have a day you hope for during the weekdays please let me know in advance and I will do my best to accommodate you and your schedule.

 

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?

Cash and checks, Money Orders and PayPal (credit cards) are accepted at this time and are requested the day of your shoot. Visa and MasterCard's will be accepted using PayPal. Please see the orange "PayPal" links found on the "My Rates" page, if you prefer this payment method.

 

HOW MANY OUTFIT CHANGES ARE ALLOWED?

Average outfit changes is two per hour. This will depend on the amount of time spent on each outfit and whether there is any make up, hair or setting changes.

 

WHAT IS A MODEL OR PHOTO PRINT RELEASE?

A release shows that you or the photographer had been given permission to do anything stated in the document. It is a standard release signed at most professional photo shoots. All subjects and/or their parents (if under age 18) will be required to sign a release prior or following their shoot. One copy will be the photographers and the second copy will be given to the subject or parent. For the subject,  the release will be what is required to be given at the time prints are obtained from an outside printer.

 

IF I ORDER A PROFESSIONAL WEDDING PHOTO ALBUM, HOW  LONG AFTER THE WEDDING SHOULD I EXPECT TO RECEIVE IT?

Wedding albums are great to have made but it would require more time from photographers after photos are edited and delivered, so I ask that you expect an additional 4-6 weeks before receiving your photo album. The album takes longer so you will receive your disc of images sooner than this.

 

WILL YOU BE COVERING OUR ENTIRE WEDDING DAY?

I would love to but this will depend on the package you choose. My average wedding day coverage is typically from 5 to 10 hours per day. When selecting your package, be sure to talk with me to ensure that you get the photographic coverage you need to capture all of the moments you’ll want to remember forever!

 

WILL YOU TRAVEL FOR MY WEDDING OR EVENT?

I would love to travel to where your big day will be located. This, unfortunately, would have to be at the expense of the client though. Many flights are right around $300 or less. You are welcome to book the flight for me or reimburse me for the expense at the time your deposit is made.

If traveling more than two hours by car is required, I would ask for reimbursement for gas and help with lodging, if it is needed. I happily consider booking weddings over 2 & 3 hour driving distance, but I ask for .40 cents per mile reimbursement in these cases to help cover travel expenses.
